About me
Hello, it’s a pleasure to meet you! My name is Janne van der Laan and I am a branding and marketing professional based in Milan. I have over 8 years of work experience in a variety of strategic creative roles on both agency and client side in Amsterdam, Dubai and Milan. Since one and a half year I am the Marketing Manager for Versus Versace after having worked for three years as the Global Marketing Coordinator for Versace First Line. In my current job I am responsible for the set-up and development of global marketing strategies and campaign roll-out, including forecasting, controlling and reporting on budget and presenting marketing plan to internal stakeholders like the Business Unit Director, CEO and Artistic Direction. Besides this I also handle the partnerships and (celebrity) collaborations and lead all creative media production for the brand, coordinating and briefing cross functional stakeholders and third party agencies to deliver imagery, collateral, messaging, advice and any other supporting activity associated with marketing plans and initiatives on time, brand and in budget. This is where I am now: I’m ready to move to a more specialised role where I can use my broad experience in brand marketing, concept development and content creation in a meaningful way and deepen my knowledge and expertise in those aspects of my job which I love most. I'm open to explore new opportunities both in my current industry as well as beyond.

Global Marketing Strategy - Planning, execution and analysis of marketing strategy and campaigns across all channels including media, digital, events, marketing and PR. - Forecasting, managing and reporting of budget for owned areas including fashion shows, campaigns, creative media production, promotion and partnerships. - Presentation to internal stakeholders from Chief Marketing Officer to Business Unit Director, CEO and Artistic Direction. 2. Collaboration & Partnerships - Management of celebrity collaboration programs throughout all stages of the project: - Contract negotiations - Set-up long term calendar (12 to 16 months) - Product development - Campaign briefing, production, execution and roll-out - Manage the detail of the execution of marketing plans and initiatives: scheduling activity, providing assets direction, identifying and proactively resolving challenges to delivery. - Production of insight reports documenting learning and ROI. 3. Creative Media Production - Coordination and briefing of cross functional stakeholders and third party agencies to deliver imagery, collateral, messaging, advice and any other supporting assets associated with marketing plans and initiatives on time, brand and in budget.
