About me
I have just graduated from The University of Brighton with a second class honors in BA (Hons) Moving Image. Whilst at University I free-lanced as a videographer for events and also worked closely alongside musicians making music videos. Since graduating I have exceeded my expectations and found myself fully immersed into the world of digital media.
I have now gained over 4 years experience as a videographer across a range of genres including arts, live studio work, music, events and commercials. I can say that I am completely confident in my skills within this area. Since graduating I have been continuing this but have more firmly found my role within the production side of the industry. I am a very ambitious individual with a range of cultural, artistic and educational interests. Working in different environments since a young age has enabled me to develop transferrable skills that grant me versatility to work in lots of different roles and workplaces. I would consider myself a fairly logical person, with the ability to learn quickly but also be open to instruction as well as criticism when necessary. I also pride myself on my ability to build relationships with people, and communicate properly with colleagues and clients alike.
I pride myself on having a diverse range of interests, and am always looking for ways in which I can enjoy them together. Since a very young age I have had a keen interest in photography, which over the last 5 years has developed into a passion for film/visal art and led me to study Moving Image at degree level. I would like to think that I have always been very culturally and visually aware, having followed fashion, music, politics, culture and art for a very long time. As well as this I love music and am always looking for ways to creatively combine my love of filmmaking with music and travel. I love writing creatively and have done so in the past for publications concerned with visual art and music.
