Key Responsibilities Strategic Responsibilities : • Ensure you are aware and understand the overall insight strategy and how this fits with the overall advertising business objectives • Required to analyse and produce strategic/forecast/trend/market intelligence reports • Utilise all insight methodologies and techniques – incl. our online research community ‘The Origin Lounge’ and Campaign Effect products – in the delivery of effective and commercially actionable insight • Work with wider Customer Strategy team, both in India and UK to identify & exploit insight from our customer data and drive opportunities with clients, via sales teams • Assist/support Head of Ad Insight and other team colleagues on strategic projects Research Responsibilities : • When required, support the wider team in implementation and development of new insight projects • Promote internally media industry research and news across the business to ensure it is fully utilised by the sales teams • Joint responsibility with team for driving usage of Time Inc.’s panels and forums, including polls and discussion corners. • Stay up to date on best practice and usage of all key insight systems, tools, and subscriptions. Identify and communicate training needs as appropriate • Build a knowledge of research techniques and how this can be implemented into a commercial research environment • Contribute to the running and implementation of Time Inc. Insight projects - both quantitative and qualitative – taking responsibility for delivery of certain elements within projects as required Sales and Client Responsibilities : • Work with and respond to the needs of the sales teams – on a day to day basis and provide regular insights for brainstorms, pitches or any other client/agency requests • Analyse research data (internal & external) to feed into sales presentations and pitches • Oversee & manage the production & analysis of industry data to inform the business– including (but not limited to) NRS/NRS PADD, ABC, AdDynamix. Assist sales teams when required. • Where insight content is required, assist in the production of sales facing presentations to help promote Time Inc. to the market • Attend sales meetings to understand current business needs and see where Insight can be involved • Educate sales teams in using and encourage use of insight tools such as TGI and Insight Hub, so they have the knowledge and can be self-sufficient for basic insight needs Communication Responsibilities : • Be visible and approachable to sales teams and build relationships with them to encourage regular insight contact • When required, assist in presenting research findings internally to the relevant sales teams/departments • Be responsible for ensuring sales teams are kept up to speed on industry developments and new industry research (press and digital) • Build a two-way relationship with fellow Customer Strategy team mates, and by extension with sales teams where possible • Responsible for sharing and ensuring that the sales teams are fully informed of key social, media and market trends to increase their knowledge and sales expertise • Ensure all members of Insight (and Sales teams where appropriate) are kept up to date with new techniques and where required suggest further training/meetings with suppliers to improve knowledge across the department • Attend sales hub meetings as required in order to keep sales teams up to date with Insight developments, maintain a profile, and generate insight requests Marketing Responsibilities: • To assist in the promotion of Time Inc. advertising and our Insight projects through marketing initiatives, including website and intranet • Ensure that all free to market sales/marketing materials are kept up to date and are in line with the Time Inc. strategy • To keep Time Inc. Corporate Comms in the loop with any relevant insight projects to maximise coverage and PR-ability, via UK insight team

My first retail experience. I began as a shoes and accessories sales assistant, however in less than a year I got promoted. Despite that, retail is stressful and this is where I learnt the art of being patient, precise and realized the importance of detail. As I dealt with the strains of customers, returns and stock management. Subsequently progressing to the designer department as senior sales assistant, this improved my people skills further, by engaging in 1;1 premium service and really developing my commercial and brand awareness. Finally, I moved onto admin for self-development purposes and gained my first internship as a HR intern at their Head offices.
