About me
I've been a creative leader in the UK, Australia, advertising, digital, America, direct, design and a lot of places in between. I've founded agencies, built tech start-ups and won lots of awards. I believe in the power of new technologies to transform the relationships between people and brands; to create more involving stories; to fuel more meaningful conversations and to shift inertia-strapped behaviour. It’s no longer about advertising. Or branded propositions. Or selling stuff. It’s about people. Brands must become a natural contributor to culture, not an interruption to it. Be where people are. Do what people do. Talk like people talk. Ideas are still as fundamental as ever. But creativity that invites people in and enriches their lives is the key to the future. Specialties: Integrated ideas.My D&AD, MAA, Social Buzz and Creative Circle Awards jostle for shelf space with John Caples, DMA and Campaign Direct, Press and Poster accolades - amongst others. And I've judged them all too.
