I am a content writer and copywriter. I have a strong interest and comprehensive knowledge in the psychology that drives consumer behaviour, as well as the strategies companies use to influence behaviour, leverage brands and improve sales. I am also the co-founder and editor of Signatures, a new bi-annual print publication dedicated to creative passion, process and pursuit in Africa.Locked Pro Plan feature
My role at FITCH involves the support of worldwide marketing initiatives, including the website, social media, internal communications and benchmarking. General responsibilities include: ● Maintaining a global marketing calendar, tracking speaking events and conference opportunities and media across each region for benchmarking purposes. ● Co-ordinating global thought leadership initiatives with the GMD from brainstorm to document production, liaising with senior leadership, business development teams and design studios as required. ● With the GMD, raising standards of written and visual content on FITCH’s digital platforms and print publications. ● Developing and maintaining good relationships with marketing co-ordinators and managers across regions to promote information sharing. ● Providing general support on global marketing initiatives as required
Signatures is a bi-annual print magazine that celebrates and explores the passion, process and pursuit of creativity in Africa. Founded and independently published by Ghanaian brothers Julian and Jason Nicco-Annan, Signatures is a refreshing and forward-thinking showcase of emerging and established artists, entrepreneurs, illustrators, photographers, and writers on the continent and its diaspora. We care deeply about culture and the creative process, which is why this magazine’s main goal is to explore what inspires, informs and influences today’s African creative class. As such, our exclusive and original content gives context and depth to the work that is coming out of the continent and its diaspora.
I was involved in a variety of projects, with a special focus on helping to develop content for the agency website and social media, building awards case studies and amplifying internal communications. Responsibilities included: • Assisting with managing the flow of content for the website and social media • Liaising with regional teams, preparing copy, finding images and publishing content. • Helping with the monitoring of FITCH social media accounts and the content calendar • Supporting internal communications activities. • Helping to create awards entries. • Maintaining and contributing to the global marketing resources, including events and awards calendar and building archive information.

Huck Magazine is a global magazine that celebrates independent culture, exploring the many facets of radical culture, be it skate, music, art, activism, pop culture, the environment and the world. I spent a month helping the editorial team cover daily stories about art, music, film and activism from a youth perspective. I gained the opportunity to participate in daily story meetings, work closely with editors and earn bylines, and wrote about some exciting people and events shaping global culture.
In-house creative copywriter reporting to Creative Director. Through my studies I have gained a deep interest and comprehensive knowledge in the psychology that drives human behaviour and consumer choice, as well as the strategies that companies use to influence said behaviour to leverage brands and improve sales. My research project was a proposal to create a visual salience framework that brands could use to effectively measure the effectiveness and impact of bus adverts based on how distinct and memorable the elements (colour, logo, message, etc) of an advertisement are. Consumer Behaviour has given me a fresh outlook on advertising and marketing trends, and complements my interest in how brands creatively persuade customers.
