About me

Jayoon is a london based artist as well as a trained visual communicator through her BA in Illustra- tion and MA in Information Experience Design. She writes, directs and produces her projects, as well as collaborating with other artists. She is able to explore her ideas through various resources from traditional hand drawings, performance to moving image installation. She is interested in people, from individuals to groups, and the way they feel, behave and what motivates them. She then creates a reflection of what she observes and invites her audience to delve into the realm of her work. Often there is a narrative path to follow and through projection mapping, the audience can physically feel the space of her imagination. Her practice intends to move away from being a statement but instead to become a trigger of curiosity to her audience.
