I’m a creative and determined individual who loves to research and experiment with a wide range of different processes. I’m a textile-led fashion designer who loves to blend tradtional methods with modern techniques. Over the last four years I’ve developed my own individual style from a variety of sources. My style is bold, non-conformist, and forward thinking, whilst at the same time disciplined. I am very confident with Adobe Illustrator and Phototoshop. I keep to deadlines and have a strong work ethic.Locked Pro Plan feature
My role as a design assistant entailed working alongside the creative director and the production team with the design of acrylic jewellery collections including A/W 16, SS17, capsule and contemporary collections, and collaborations with various organisations such as Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, and Vital Arts. I also assisted with marketing and promotion, creating and sourcing props for photoshoots, aiding the photographer, collecting social media responses, and helping the marketing and PR executive with setting up a bloggers event.
My duties as a studio intern at Peter Jensen included creating technical drawings for specification sheets on Adobe Illustrator, fabric sourcing, preparing toiles, archiving press cuttings, and general office duties.
Assisted designers by printing, washing, pressing, and making up textile samples ready to show potential buyers at meetings and trade shows. I also helped in the design process by mark making and drawing motifs ready for the designers to scan in and stylise on Photoshop.
