I'm an illustrator. I also apply my experience in still life and model photography as well as all sorts of retouching. I love cycling, camping, gaming and good sci-fi books.Locked Pro Plan feature
I have been comissioned to produce a large series of illustrations to be used as promotional and catalogue material for one of their client’s brand anniversary. To do this, I employ my digital illustration skills to create a varied yet distinctly unique body of work.
Initially I was a part-time admin assisstant, but within a couple of months I became a vital part of the studio. I quickly developed my retouching and photography skills and started working full time. Duties included studio photography (editorial, product, portrait, fine art, location, campaign) as well as retouching, managing part-time retouchers, liaising with clients and talent, supervising the day to day processes in the studio, assisting Mr. Kotedia on set, creating props and pre-lighting the set, managing the extensive inventory of equipment as well as sourcing specific kit depending on the project. I learned how to work with a variety of equipment, mainly Canon and Phase One as well as a variety of lighting kit.
Quickly promoted from Supervisor, I worked at the Charing Cross and Kingston Branches. Of course I eventually wanted to begin a career in photography or illustration (or both), but I had little choice at the time, and in any case I ended up learning many managerial skills. I was in charge of the office and a team of eight, I also co-managed the Art Space in which we held events and creative, demanding workshops which I led regularly and which gave me a lot of confidence.
