I was brought in to cover some holiday time at Caffyns Volkswagen & have since returned on a casual basis to cover sick days & busier periods.
I was employed directly by Mr. Graham on a casual basis, having been recommended via previous employers. During busier periods I would handle all email & phone enquires on Mr. Graham’s behalf, as well as diary management, arranging & tracking product samples to & from China & creating travel itineraries.
I managed a small team & was responsible for the day-to-day running of the café. This included invoicing clients, hiring new staff, completing stock orders while researching & recommending new suppliers & maintaining the website & social media channels.
I was employed by Zinc on a temporary contract to help during one of their promotional redemption periods. This role involved building & maintaining relationships with new & existing customers, making and receiving all inbound & outbound enquires in a call centre capacity, as well as managing the customer database & entering large amounts of data with speed & accuracy.
I managed print production jobs (scheduling, budget, suppliers), coordinated hundreds of images (with retouching) ready for season launches on the website, proofread catalogues & tested the website pre-season launches, resolving issues.
I Maintained the company website, uploaded new imagery & wrote the accompanying copy. I managed all social media feeds, wrote the company blog & newsletter & tracked website traffic. I organized & directed photo shoots for new products, as well as creating print/web adverts & press invites using Photoshop & Illustrator.
