About me
A corporate communications professional I have six years’ experience in writing for corporate magazines, and digital platforms, but my real passion lies in interior design. Having spent the majority of my life assisting my parents in their self builds and renovations, I’ve been exposed to the design process from a young age. I am lucky enough to now be in the process of finishing my own renovation project, and have completely immersed myself in the process, and industry. Having spent my career in a range of different industries, from Aviation to IT, Finance and HR Systems I am skilled at writing about a variety of different topics, in a range of different tones; skills I believe will serve me well in any industry I work in. In my previous role I always have extensive experience in working with video production agencies, where I had to direct and act as editor to all videos before they were published to the intended audience. Key skills include: • Creating communication strategies and channels that relate to the business culture; • Editorial, news article, creative and informative writing; • Identifying and communicating key and complex messages; • Leading and managing a team of individuals; • Event management; • Photography • Editorial responsibilities (inc. written and video); • SharePoint editing.
