• European Trafficking DirectiveAt the age of 18, I began a campaign to lobby MPs to opt in to the EU trafficking directive. The campaign was successful and the government opted in as a result of lobbying my local MP at the time, Hazel Blears. £2million per year was dedicated to the shelter and rehabilitation of victims of trafficking in the UK.
• The Bigger PictureThis marketing campaign is the first and only of it’s kind to win a CIM award. It’s focus was on educating financial advisers on the importance of asking health questions to ensure best advice. I had the opportunity to be involved in the email, web, and social media arms of this campaign.
• Assistant EditorDuring my time at university, I volunteered at our publish house as an assistant editor, and had the opportunity to co-edit The Jacqueline Wilson Fan book. My duties included ensuring the copy was grammatically correct and punctuation impeccable, giving feedback on design, and ensuring relevant laws were adhered to (content was provided by & contained pictures of children).
