About me

 

Experienced project manager with a BA in Journalism and Fetac Level 5 award in Graphic Design. Successfully liasing with multifunctional teams and key stakeholders to deliver projects on time. Proven ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative managing commerical creative projects. Strong experience in the pharamceutical industry managing artwork projects and client expectations. Very strong soft skills such as: communication, influencing and teamwork. Excellent technical knowledge of functional/creative briefs based on the needs of the client.

  • Planned, forecasted and actioned range extensions and new packaging artworks for Menswear, initially, before moving to Lingerie and later, Womenswear, on time and to budget. Developed and managed the critical path to manage expectations of stakeholders and to ensure the FOB and PTF dates are met. Worked and negioated with the Business Unit, Central Packaging Team, International Regional Packaging teams and external suppliers; Product/ garment suppliers and printers, to deliver packaging in line with M&S’s Strategy. Used online workflow system GM3P for drafting, collating, briefing requesting reviews and approving packaging artworks in an cost effective manner. Organised pre-production and artwork / photography handovers to ensure all elements were efficiently captured, ready for artwork / retouch. Liaised with stakeholders to keep them up-to-date regarding changes in production timelines. Requested testing to ensure all packaging was fit for purpose, initiated transit trails, escalated any issues with sufficient time to the GM central team and BUs.

  • Project Manager: Managed and tracked the workflow of three clients from project initiation through to completion using applications; outlook, excel and e-PALMS. Performed QC on incoming artworks to pre-empt any issues with native files. Liaised daily with clients and artwork team to ensure all requirements were met and artworks were completed to deadline. Monitored and analysed KPIs on a monthly basis to ascertain lead time performance. Artworker: Created and revised pharmaceutical packaging according to client specifications.
