As a trained photographer and communication designer it was always my goal to create a path of independence, while further developing my skills. Since 2015 I am realizing this dream of mine under the alter ego 'The Art of Ama'. I was able to create a platform that combines photography and illustrative work, two of my core passions and fields in which I feel most at home.
For my commissioned photography work I mainly specialize in event photography as well as company portraits and product photography. Especially my ability to easily connect with other people brought me interesting projects for clients like:

Home of Art is an art gallery for contemporary art. In 2015 still based in Amsterdam, the gallery is now located in The Hague. I have supported the two owners with product photography of the artworks exhibited in the gallery, as well as interior shots that were used on the social media channels and the website of the gallery.
Besides my photography work at the gallery, I supported the team with:
- Promotional work like designing flyers, creating and realizing promotion concepts
- Support during the day-to-day business, welcoming potential clients, informing customers about ongoing projects, workshops, and upcoming events
On a regular base, the Home of Art gallery in Amsterdam organized events like intimate concerts, exhibition openings and jam sessions with artists from all over the world. I had the pleasure to be their event photographer and capture these wonderful moments.
