Recent First-Class graduate of BA Design for Branded Spaces at London College of Communication (UAL). Shortlisted for the Peter Cannings Memorial Award. Thanks to this award, my final major project 'Dematerialise' will be published online in Science Open and a hard-copy published in Electronic Visualisation & the Arts London in July 2021. I am an artist and designer whose work predominately explores the connections between the mind, body, and environment in sensorial and immersive installations. I have recently been focusing on altered states of consciousness using practice-based research to transform these non-physical experiences into physical, immersive environments. I have a breadth of professional experience in exhibition, set, architectural, event, and narrative-based design, working with companies including Hirsch & Mann, MUZA, WaterAid, Bad Angle, and Rapha. These projects involved building a narrative, creating compelling visuals and presentations, technical drawing and fabrication. I am a passionate and meticulous designer working at the intersection of art, design and technology to create thought-provoking and memorable experiences in the built environment.
- IlluminationsThesis (Practice). This practice-based research investigates how Light and Space art can enable an altered state of consciousness using the immaterial medium of light. This body of research explores the extravagancies of individual subjective experiences of light installations to reflect on the true power light can have through controlled environments. These experiments were developed following theoretical research surrounding consciousness, including wakeful consciousness.
- DematerialiseDematerialise is an immersive exhibition investigating states of wakeful consciousness, which offers viewers a chance to immerse themselves in their awakening consciousness - transforming the non-physical experience into a physical, ethereal journey. How does the space in your mind look as your consciousness becomes awakened? *Project shortlisted for Peter Cannings Memorial Award
