Worked on several client briefs within a wider team of creatives. Successfully supported the creative team in the development of campaigns for clients such as Twitter, Coty and Absolut Vodka. Conduct research and put together pitch decks to be presented to the client.
Learned about a variety of digital printing techniques such as screen-, offset- and digital printing. Helped print and create prototypes for clients such as Beck’s, Lucky Strike, Nivea and Schwarzkopf Designed packaging for a children’s soap brand. Stood in direct contact with clients to ensure their demands were met. Ended placement with designing, printing and putting together packaging for my own fictional brand. Various other runner responsibilities, such as delivering finished products and gathering materials.
Thanks to several workshops, placements and a study trip to New York City I learned a lot about what it is like to work in advertising and how to think like a creative. We got to constantly work with agencies on projects and present our work to professionals such as Alex Taylor and Steve Henry. This was a great help while writing my dissertation on the automation of the creative industry and AI creativity as I already had gathered plenty of contacts to interview and engage with. The highlight of my three years at University was being able to showcase my final work at the New Blood D&AD festival.
I studied 2 semesters at this University before I decided to move to England and pursue a degree in Creative Advertising.
I specified in English and Media Design. Throughout my time at this school I worked on several projects requiring skills such as graphic design, UX- and web design and advertising.
I visited a High School in the United States for a year. During my time at this school I took part in several extra curricular activities such as writing for the school newspaper which helped me develop my own writing skills and taught me the basics of layout design and typography.
