About me
A film producer in the third sector with experience in marketing, publishing, content creation and charity. Currently leading the creative development of Action for Children and embedding a framework for film and multimedia content across fundraising, media, and services. I am responsible for ensuring cross-organisational content to authenticate the brand, raise the profile and increase income generation through authentic and sustainable storytelling.

    Currently leading the creative development of Action for Children’s overall multimedia content output. I am responsible for delivering cross-organisational content with film, images and written stories - focusing on stories of young people and families supported by the charity. I create and produce content that authenticates our brand, profile and income generation while embedding a framework for film and providing creative leadership to ensure Action for Children stands out in the industry, meeting business objectives and driving sustainable and safe-guarded growth. I have produced a number of case study films since joining Action for Children and was at the forefront of creating the style and design for the rebrand across film and the launch of the Choose Childhood campaign. As well as this, I was the producer and director for the case study films that supported the campaign or three anonymous stories covering poverty, neglect and domestic abuse. I have also worked with children and young people across our homeless youth services, fostering, adoption, mental health, under 5s and many more.

    I manage digital production of content globally for the company, handling the social accounts for awards, sales, branded content, editorial and marketing. I work alongside each department to create work that will improve coverage of all output. Manage a team of content creators to ensure we are able to create a larger output; directing them, proofing their work, having ideas meetings and delegating workloads. Creating multimedia content including video, written, imagery and gifs for each platform and account The Drum handles. Working closely with the head of social to create a social strategy and provide content to reach KPI’s and goals. Shoot and edit original content Uploading copy and multimedia content to the CMS Edit archived and sourced content Create marketing campaigns for departments on social to improve sales and awareness. Attend conferences and meetings, internally and externally as a face of The Drum to create content and connections. Managing paid for content on Facebook’s advertising platforms, including budgeting and preparing specially made content to upsell onsite content. Working with the branded content and marketing team to create organic and paid for social reach
