About me

Graduating from the BA Bespoke Tailoring course at the London College of Fashion in July 2014, I have since been freelancing as a bespoke tailor. I am a very creative and ambitious person. I love to research, developing new ideas into designs, samples and garments. Whether going to an exhibition, seeing a performance or just while I’m travelling, I am constantly inspired by the things around me. I am always sketching ideas and staying up to date with trends. I really enjoy having a brief I can fully immerse myself in and working with an energetic and passionate team.

2015

Style Concierge Host

Harvey Nichols

Jan 2015 - May 2015
  • I phoned and emailed clients to organise booking with the stylists. I greeted clients when they came into the Style Concierge area, and if they was a walk-in appointment, then I would give my own style advice. Helping with orders for VIP clients, I would liase between them and delivery companies to make sure their orders would arrive smoothly.

2014

Christmas Concierge

Harvey Nichols

Sep 2014 - Dec 2014
  • I put together bespoke hampers, managed my own client list and advised other customers on items to choose throughout the store. I communicated with my clients via phone calls and emails, putting together displays of items for them to choose when they came in to the store.

Education

2016

BA Bespoke Tailoring

London College of Fashion

Sep 2013 - Jul 2016
  • In my third year I made my final collection of five full womenswear outfits. For this I used production methods with bespoke finishing. I collated a portfolio of refined research and designs, making samples of the techniques I wanted to use. I then toiled each garment to fit the measurements of my models.

2016

FdA Tailoring

London College of Fashion

Jul 2016 - Jul 2016
  • In the first year, I learnt the bespoke methods of making a men's traditional tailored jacket and trousers. As well as this I also learnt how to put together research to design from, undertaking a new design project each term. In the second year I learnt production methods of garment construction, making a different outfit each term from my designs.
