Jenny Mc Namara is an Irish sculptor whose work predominantly revolves around the study of fluidity. Her work is inspired by the natural movements and patterns created by liquids. Lately, she has been investigating visual effects of the pouring, dripping and pooling of material. Organic movement alongside rigid structure is key in her practice – the idea that containment/control is not powerful enough to stop an action. She plays with material to express alternative ideals and experiments with formal elements using a variety of materials and processes.Locked Pro Plan feature
