About me
I am a recent Textile Design graduate from Nottingham Trent University where I specialised in weave. Although, in edition to this I am very multidisciplinary; I enjoy combining techniques in exciting and innovative ways. Exploring the fundamentals of textiles across a range of platforms. I am open to opportunities within freelance design and internships etc to continue gathering knowledge and experience within the industry while I slowly set up my own brand.
Projects
  • Audacious Eclecticism
Audacious EclecticismThis collection is my final year collection whilst studying Textile Design at Nottingham Trent University. It is inspired by retro and vintage aesthetics, trying to design the future 'vintage/retro'. The idea behind this collection is that encourages longevity and connection between garment and consumer. Encouraging people to express themselves through their clothes and forget about rules, express their individuality which has been tarnished by the over growing trend of fast-fashion.

During my final year I completed 2 weeks of placement at Stephen Walters Weaving Mill where I was placed as a design assistant. This consisted of a range of jobs including concept development, designing, selecting previous designs to a clients brief, admin work and technical designs for weaving. I learnt a lot during this time being placed on a different area each day and getting to understand the design process within a weaving mill.
