About me

Previously Lifestyle Editor on The Sun’s Saturday magazine, as well as launch features editor for LOOK, I have almost 20 years’ experience working and freelancing for publications including The Daily Mail, Good Homes, Notebook (Sunday Mirror), Fabulous (The Sun), Metro, Company, Glamour, Red, Top Santé, Cosmopolitan, Woman’s Own, Closer, Pick Me Up, Mother & Baby, Men’s Health, Real Health & Beauty, as well as P&G’s websites SuperSavvyMe and Victoria.co.uk I specialise in lifestyle, homes & interiors, health, emotional wellbeing and sexual health features. As well as writing a non-fiction book, I've won six industry awards including the PTC New Journalist of the Year, the Natmags Eagle Award for Best New Magazine Section and the prestigious Family Planning Association Rosemary Goodchild Prize for sexual health writing. I'm honoured to have sat on the judging panels for the Amnesty International Media Awards, the One World Media Awards and the MadeforMums.com Awards, and I also run workshops on getting media coverage for PR companies and charities. I've worked with brands including DFS and Hema, and am currently a member of the JD Williams ‘Colour Council’ aimed at inspiring women over 35. I'm also proud to have been part of a successful nationwide mentoring scheme for young graduates.
