I’ve spent 17 years making and telling stories with the internet, first as Digital Publisher at Penguin Books and then as Creative Director at Bartle Bogle Hegarty and BBH Labs. I’ve spent 17 years thinking about and working at the intersection of technology, culture and behaviour and I remain passionate about the potential of the web to inspire communication, experience and creativity.

Researched and reported on new technologies and potential applications including blockchain, AI and mixed reality. Worked on pitches and client projects adding a digital perspective to the team and the work.

As Creative Director I led the creative team on accounts including Johnnie Walker, Clarks, Christie's and Soundcloud, producing integrated campaigns involving films, social campaigns, digital experiences and content plays. I was regularly involved in pitches for new business and presented work to clients at all levels. I also led BBH Labs, the agency's R&D unit, managing our editorial publishing and working on projects for clients and internal 'experimental' programme.
