Projects
- FuttoFutto is an ergonomic kettle, designed to minimise wrist strain when used. The mechanism consists of a handle that slides along a rod to allow for the wrist to stay in a neutral position when poured. There is also a locking mechanism to allow for the kettle to be used with one hand, like a normal kettle or with 2 hands.
- A Truly Portable MIDI DeviceAll you need to be a music producer is a laptop and music software. This allows producers to be on the go when collaborating and travelling so they can work anywhere. However, MIDI instruments are key to managing workflow and yet so few are portable and therefore cannot accommodate the lifestyle of these producers. This project was a design response to this, by creating an ergonomic and smart MIDI device that can be used anywhere.

The structure of this course was split into 2 terms. The first term consisted of 4 small but very fast-paced projects. The second term consisted of a live group project, in collaboration with British Airways as well as the major project for the year.
This course prepares students, mainly from a non-design or non-English background for the master's course. Due to the restrictions of COVID-19, I decided not to continue with the master's program.
