- ELVI - SS18 - 'Belle Pointe'My 2nd collection designing for fashion brand, ELVI. Kirsten Dunst in ‘The Virgin Suicides’ (1999) as Lux Lisbon acts as the main muse to the collection with the idea of styling feminine dresses with sweatshirts and having a carefree, fun-loving attitude. Strawberry red is the crux of the range with muted blush pieces to help soften the palette. Fabric interest such as patent, embroidered, embellished and appliqué techniques adds further excitement to the collection.
- 'Sartorial Pearl'The idea behind ‘Sartorial Pearl’ began from a photo by Peter Lindbergh, taken in 1986 of three models wearing trench coats on the beach who became the muses of the collection. Key details are trumpet and bubble sleeves, the smock silhouette as well as cinched waistlines and pearl-trimmed accents. Pleats and rouleau buttons also decorate the pieces with the latter detail being used in functional and non-functional methods. - 'Summer of Stabilo'This collection is in response to the abundance of bright colour that appeared on the catwalk shows and also street style looks where influential women blocked their clothing with contrast coloured accessories. Named after Stabilo highlighter pens, ‘Summer of Stabilo’ is super fun with main muses being Confetti Crowd and Naomi Shimada, influencers who definitely are not afraid of colour!
