As a Communications & Engagement Manager at WPP HQ, I leverage my background honed from 16+ years of EA plate-spinning, managing & negotiating with humans, and 1st Class BA (Hons) degrees in Media, and Journalism, to support the global rollout of Workday across the WPP network.
Since joining WPP HQ in Jan 2018, I have been part of & have collaborated with various teams from the hallowed halls of WPP HQ. Be it client-side with the WPP Unilever Team as Team Manager & EA to the Global Client Lead (Jan 2018 - Sept 2022), to the back-office side of WPP HQ, in the WPP Enterprise Technology (formerly IT) team (Sept 2022 - Dec 2024), to most recently in the HQ Finance Transformation team, supporting the Workday Program, and HQ Finance People teams with internal comms. In addition to my "day job" at WPP, I am a founding UK Committee Member and fierce ally in Unite, WPP's LGBTQIA+ Community. Alongside our co-chairs, James Cunningham (he/him), and Matthew (Chewie) Chew (he/him), I help coordinate the operations & activities of our UK Committee. I also collaborate with the Global Unite Committee, representing Unite Communities in AUNZ, North America, India, Singapore, Belgium, Czechia, & South Africa, with France & Spain to come. I am so proud to be part of a diverse & inclusive ECG that drives a culture of authentic allyship & empowerment at WPP.
I have worked in various industries from media, entertainment, luxury travel, musical theatre, TV, music, & events, both in corporate & private household environments.
Fun stuff: Devour books, mainly audiobooks & podcasts these days, and am a regular visitor at my local Picturehouse cinema. Love to travel, especially a good road trip in my trusty steed, Lady Vivienne. Incredible researching skills & laser-beam eyeballs for proofreading.
