Portuguese fashion designer educated in the Netherlands. After living abroad for 12 years, I decided to move back home and start a family. I work from my studio at home and own a slow-fashion brand (see website). Since graduation, I've been obsessed with textile manipulations and zero-waste, therefore combining the two to create aesthetic, sustainable and fashion-forward garments.
- Oh Salad Days !This is the start of something new, an explosion of creativity put into practice. Relating back to Shakespeare's expression - 'Oh my salad days', which relates to youthful days, in other words nostalgia. This project is basically a textile manipulation research experimenting with real flowers and dried petals in combination with traditional techniques and craftsmanship.
- Amid Cultures CollectionAmid Cultures embraces zero-waste and recycling of materials, through traditional craftsmanship and techniques such as smock. The contrast in materials refers back to the conceptual story of the collection that looks into the differences between individualistic and collective cultures, with reference to the Netherlands versus Portugal - the two countries where the designer spent most her life.
