I'm Jess and I'm an illustrator and multidisciplinary designer based in London, UK. I graduated in 2017 studying a BA Honors in Illustration at The University of the West of England, Bristol. I mainly focus on editorial illustration, branding and marketing but I love to experiment within different fields of design. I create content for social media, promotional material and merchandise, books and zines and I have created decor for festivals (I am not afraid of using my hands).
Projects
- 'Go out' BristolA cover design for 365Bristol's first issue of their magazine about nightlife and events in Bristol targeted at a student demographic. The issue was released in October 2018 and around 10,000 copies were distributed around Bristol. There were also 4 other images commissioned for articles within the magazine about food, drink, dance and shopping. It was a great project and I will be working with them in the future. I throughly enjoyed my degree and learnt many skills. For example I completed workshops in Adobe Premier and After Effects, bookbinding, welding, casting, sand blasting, print making, woodwork and laser cutting. As well as completing presentations to large groups of people, taking part in critiques and working on collaborative projects.
