About me

After graduating from the University of Sheffield with an MA in modern history, I began my career working on cultural research projects in theatre and film. I later joined a local radio and gained experience in broadcasting and production. From there, I wanted to gain independent writing experience and so I decided to create a small song blog which opened the door to freelance music journalism. My areas of expertise have steadily grown and I now specialise in music, interviews and website content.

  • In conjunction with European Services and Qualification Directives, the French business project, Guichet Entreprises (GE) under the Direction Générale des Entreprsies (DGE), is pushing boundaries in administration to create a once-only business portal to simplify processes for both users within the EU and administrative partners across France. As a journalist, my role is to help promote the GE project in the form of a dynamic website: All content is written in English in order to reach a broader spectrum of interest. By writing the story of the project from its 2009 beginning to the present day; introducing the team and their mission, and establishing and describing the challenges they are facing, my work has become a narrative of what they have already accomplished and what they hope to achieve. Coming to the end of the initial content and the development of the site’s design and logo, my work now focuses on describing technical elements of the project, detailing methods and terminology, and expanding the site to include relevant interviews and best practices in order to fully document the project's significance.
