I currently obtain Tailoring degree, graduating from London College of Fashion.
BA Bespoke Tailoring at London College Fashion. My studies have provided me with
experience in creating, designing and research- as well as the ability to understand the construction of all garments.
I am a passionate and motivated individual in respect of my profession. I have spent two years working within the Fashion industry, having had the opportunity to work on costumes for new films due to be released; such as Super Woman out in 2017- I made a Tailored waistcoat for one of the lead roles. Also a Marvel movie, out in 2016 later this year (November) Doctor Strange.
I have produced quality samples for fashion designers such as; Charlie May, for their new collections.
My skills include - great and vast knowledge of fashion history and designers, pattern cutting and grading, specialising in the technical elements, precision and refinement involved in tailoring.
Experimenting with silhouette fine and unique fabric textures, to create unique garments, such as silks crepe de chine and wool cashmere suiting.
Essentially I have be trained in the construction of suits, coats, jackets and tailored to fit
garments such as dresses, shirts and other garments, for both men and Womenswear.
I also acquire skills such as, fashion illustration and have good understanding Illustrator, Photoshop and other adobe suite programmes. Specialised sewing machinery skills;
button hole machine, over locker woven and stretch wear, welt pocket machine, felling
machine and embroidery industrial machinery.
I possess industrial experience, employed as an assistant designer for Sweet FA, with many different client work such as bridal wear, Belle and Bounty and costumier, Academy which built on a large range of my skills and improving my speed.
I have been employed by Bespoke Tailors, Markowski Bespoke. Where I practice traditional Savile
Row standard tailoring, involving lots of hand stitching and many other techniques.
