• Analyse seasonal sales to see what sells best for each collection, and designing around this. • Lead product development of lingerie and accessories for each season. • Design full range of lingerie to present to Creative Director, secure approval before moving onto sampling process. • Create in House samples to help in the design process, and transfer concepts over the China easily. • Grade pieces in house to make sure measurements are standardised within the collection with ability to fit a wide range of sizes (8-24) • Source new fabrics and trims as well as new suppliers • Create all measurement charts, technical Drawings and Specification Packs • Handle re-orders, including, negotiating costs, cross costing, closing costings and sale analysis. • Execute purchase orders for all items. • Liaise with contacts in China to sort out any production queries or problems that arise. • Utilize system to work out all procurements to see what items are selling well, what needs reordering and what isn't selling well and can be sold through. • Garnered knowledge in negotiations tactics.

Job role merged with head of company upon her resignation; was promoted to Head of Production and Garment Technology • Assisted with the aesthetic and technical designing of each collection every season. • Created original patterns for each new collection, then sample all new designs and develop them until the creative director signs off on the finished design. • Developed smaller diffusion lines. Most recently: Swimwear and Menswear • Constructed all garments needed for product shots and photoshoots. • Graded all patterns once design has been approved, then carried out sampling and fits to create an accurate garment. • Developed a larger size range, plus size cups. • Designed technical specification packs for each garment within a collection • Served as main point of contact for the factory and organise the smooth running of production and sampling, in-line with order windows. • Collaborated with the head of sales to collate orders and organise scheduling for seasonal and top-up orders for stores. • Communicated with the Head of Sales to organise any pieces that need to be sewn for orders, where production can't be scheduled. • Organised buying of all fabrics and components, including sampling materials and development. • Developed critical paths, planning and monitoring the delivery of products. • Hand-made accessories for collections. Making bespoke garments for clients. • Monitored the delivery of products. • Quality-checked garments from the factory to ensure they meet the quality and fit standards for the brand, and to produce technical specification sheets and flat drawings. • Created costing’s based on order quantity and lay planning for fabric usage. • Conceptualized and implemented basic pattern blocks and consistently improve fit, undertaking fitting sessions, adapt patterns and trace patterns, relaying any comments to the factory. • Worked on lay planning for fabric usage and working out fabric content for individual garments
