Overview Jessica has worked as a freelance journalist, literary editor and writer, covering an array of subjects from various industries including the arts, education, charity and business. She has held various editorial roles including Features Editor for a travel retail business magazine, responsible for news reporting and writing analytical commentary on the duty free and travel retail industry. During this time she also covered all aspects of reporting on the industry, from suppliers and brand owners to retailers, airports and airlines. During her career Jessica has also worked in public relations, particularly in travel retail, with a focus on building client reputation and increasing business and commercial development. She has run highly successful PR campaigns working with a number of international brands and retailers, adding her insight and knowledge to enhance client communications at all levels - from running press office and media relations to event directing and speech writing, through to developing internal communications and marketing strategies. Current More recently, Jessica has developed her expertise in new business development, tender project management and bid writing. She has worked extensively on airport retail and F&B bids overseeing and managing all aspects of the bid process, from conception, store / retail design and categorisation planning through to passenger profiling, developing new marketing and customer service strategies, writing all proposal sections and document design. She is also a consultant to the development of retail and marketing strategies for airport operators.
