I'm a creative who explores conceptual narratives with an ethereal approach.
Influenced by nature; specifically light, form and composition - fueling my work through curiosity.
Searching for the unexpected as well as introducing a new way to see, my aim is to pull the viewer out of reality and paint in a light where they can interpret their own story.
My work is driven by automatism which brings emotion to the forefront of each artwork. Allowing the unpredictable nature of the process to take over and evolve every image into what it once was not.
Projects
- DoloremDolorem is a therapeutic project created during the COVID-19 pandemic, towards the end of 2020, that has been an outlet for reflection during these times. All of the images were taken on either Polaroids or 35mm film – which were all developed and scanned at home as part of my process, making my work much more physical and creating unexpected outcomes. Watercolour painting is also something I enjoy and has helped me during these times, some of these works have been featured throughout the book,
