I am a recent journalism graduate looking to expand my portfolio. I have completed experience within both journalism and PR, mostly specialising in lifestyle and fashion.
I have a passion for finding unique stories, and am consuming media. My dream is to spend my days interviewing the most interesting people and sharing their stories.
I am open to all opportunities that may come my way at the moment and more than happy to be thrown in at the deep end.

- Articles for Edinburgh Evening NewsThis is an example of the type of articles I completed for Edinburgh Evening News throughout 2013 and 2014. In particular, this piece regarding a man suing an Edinburgh chip shop for discrimination received more hits than the Scotsman homepage the day it was published. I researched this story to find the most interesting angle, then interviewed participants and the public and wrote up the article.

Junior Account Executive
This creative consultancy position encompasses both PR and journalism tasks. Writing content for fashion and lifestyle blogs, creating press releases and pitching stories to media outlets are all daily tasks. As well as this I manage social media for various brands across different platforms.
Lifestyle Editor

I acted as lifestyle editor for the 2014 addition of annual magazine Impulse, which was distributed throughout Edinburgh. As well as sourcing and writing unique stories myself, this role also allowed me to gain skills by managing a small team.
