About me

Currently in my final year studying a BA(Hons) Jewellery degree linked with business management, development and brand promotion, working towards a predicted grade of a 2:1. I am also undertaking a number of Internships, most recently this has included a placement with popular Jeweller Yen Duong. In this role one of my jobs is researching new companies to buy our base materials from and comparing to our current supplier rates. As well as this, other jobs include keeping an eye on Market and Competitor trends/developments and keeping account of stock levels. At the Beginning of the 2016 summer I approached the company On Group ltd for a work placement. With them being able to see my willingness to learn and transferable skills they offered me an opportunity to shadow and work alongside their Head of marketing Jo Body. Within this placement I learnt many things including how a company can reach their target audiences through the likes of social media and email/mail campaigns, as well as how to access the success of the campaign through the different programs and resources they have access to. On top of learning the marketing side to the company I was also invited to learn about the sales and management sides as the summer went on, really enabling me to gain great exposure to the workings of such a large successful company. With skills and experience in the management of teams, engagement with stakeholders, budget planning and commercial management. I offer a fresh, creative approach to any team and am developing into a strong multi-skilled employee.
