• Responsibilities divided into three core areas – New Business, Marketing and PR • New Business o Daily management of the VCCP Partnership social website, including writing and posting news stories to update colleagues on New Business wins, current campaigns, and CSR initiatives undertaken by the Partnership o Manage and run inductions for new starters to educate them on how to navigate the Partnership’s social website o Upload copy and content onto the corporate website • Marketing o Assist with the organization of internal and external events o Assist with awards submission and scheduling, including managing the awards schedule and notifying team members when awards evenings are taking place o Manage the collation of content for the Partnership Quarterly magazine, and send Quarterly updates to all key contacts o Create presentation decks in Keynote and PowerPoint for internal and external presentations adhering to company brand guidelines • PR o Monitor and record press coverage on a daily basis from all media types, ensuring all agency press trackers are up to date o Highlight any relevant industry trends to colleagues o Help gather information and materials from account teams o Assist in drafting press releases regarding VCCP work for distribution to the press
Independently conducted economic, client, and competitor research for Mercer Canada’s strategic growth project o This included bi-weekly brainstorming sessions with colleagues in Mercer’s various Lines of Business to discuss new ideas and opportunities for growth o This project enabled me to expand upon my research and report-writing skills, as well as become comfortable with executive summaries • Assisted with Mercer Class of 2013 New Hire Onboarding Event o Duties included managing new hire surveys and logistics related to the event in New York • Provided ongoing support to team members • Administered offsite storage project to generate, maintain, and organize electronic versions of employee records as part of a larger initiative to eliminate paper copies
