I was born and raised in the East of England and I graduated with a BA photography degree at Nottingham Trent University in 2006. After many years of working as a lighting and digital technician in fashion and advertising photography, the opportunity arose to work on the feature film, My Week with Marilyn, starring Michelle Williams and now Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne. Being immersed in this environment of incredible knowledge and talent fuelled my desire to work in the film industry as a director or as videographer. Freelancing for many years has widened my expertise and I am constantly grafting hard to open new doors and create opportunities for myself. I have made films for brands such as, Avon, Young Versace and Next. I also had the honour of interviewing the Nigerian novelist Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie for Elle India. Three years ago I had a vision of writing, producing and directing a short film about female empowerment and cultural diversity. The result was my award winning film ROOTS which showcased online within the top 10 entries for exceptional filmmaking, in the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in 2018. The film has been screened internationally around the world including New York, India and London. ROOTS is still being submitted to more film festivals around the world. I am a creative perfectionist and this is reflected in the films I create for my clients. I am dedicated to my profession and work very hard, giving my full attention to each job. The energy and buzz I get from making films drives my passion and keeps my creativity flourishing.Locked Pro Plan feature
