MMA Education is a design and marketing agency specialisting in the education sector - working on school prospectuses, marketing communications, brand identities and websites. I managed up to 25 clients at any one time. Key Responsibilities – External Facing: • Account Management – managing all accounts across the business, being the main point of contact. • Client care – establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with all clients. • Project Management – managing budgets, schedules, internal workload, external suppliers where required as well as managing the client’s expectations. • Receiving briefs from clients, as well as advising and consulting on general marketing areas. • Art Direction – being involved in numerous on-site photoshoots with detailed art direction, working closely with photographers. • Pitches – being involved in a number of Pitches, working with the team from initial brief stage to presentation to the potential client. Key Responsibilities – Internal Facing: • Team Management – managing the workload for the business, ensuring internal admin is kept up to date, overseeing and planning the workforce in accordance with the workload. Overseeing work-flow, liaising with freelance designers, web builders, photographers and printers throughout the process and ensuring good communication is maintained by all parties. • Internal Communications – initiating and implementing admin processes through different areas of the business in order to streamline the internal systems. • New Business – strategic planning of new business including creating Direct Mail campaigns, managing supporting data, designing the corporate brochure and subsequent marketing materials. • Web Presence – establishing and managing the business website overseeing content, design and build. Also managing the social media presence of the business. • Quality Control – creating and implementing a new code of quality control throughout the business. • Working closely with Managing Director. Emperor Design is a London design agency specialising in corporate, marketing and investor communications. I joined Emperor as a Senior Account Manager and was promoted to Account Director within 6 months. Working on marketing communications and Annual Reports, amongst my clients I managed Emperor’s largest Annual Report account - Man Group and also their largest Marketing Comms account - Assura Group. Key Responsibilities – External Facing: • Account Management – accounts included FTSE 100/250 companies as well as smaller businesses (Close Brothers, SES World Skies, Man Group plc, Assura Group, Intec, Heritage Oil, Record Currency, Computacenter, Intec). • Client care – establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with all clients. Overseeing work-flow through the studio, liaising with designers, artworkers and print buyers throughout the process and ensuring good communication is maintained by all parties. • Digital Experience - Working closely with the Digital Team on relevant accounts, being present in meetings and ensuring everything is within the given timeframes and budget. • Quality Control – implementing Emperor’s strict code of quality control and ensuring team members adhere to these practises. • Forecasting – managing the sales forecasting for all my clients. • Working closely with Managing Director of the print side of the business. Key Responsibilities – External Facing: • Account Management – managing all accounts for MCS, including blue chip companies (Argos, Sainsbury’s, Woolworths, Whitbread : Costa, Premier Inn, Brewers Fayre, Beefeater, David Lloyd Leisure). • Client care – establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with all clients. • Project Management – including handling projects entailing intensive data/information collation. • Developing good ongoing relationships with suppliers. • Brand Management – managing the brand guidelines for all our accounts, and ensuring these are implemented throughout all design and artworks. • Managing the production of press advertising and outdoor activity design.
