Founder and Creative Director of Futurewave, leading a team of 20 creatives and technologists to help companies bring forward-thinking products on the market (Bespoke Flos, Engelbrechts, Adidas, Duvel, 100% light, Decathlon, Cohabs, etc.).
In 2017, Joachim Froment graduated with a Master's degree from the Royal College of Art in London and started to work as a designer and project manager for Skibsted Ideation in Copenhagen, where he led projects for renowned furniture and transportation companies in Denmark such as Hay, Engelbrecths, Danfoss and Biomega.
Exhibited in Milan, Paris, London, and Brussels, Joachim Froment has been published in multiple magazines such as Wallpaper, Frame, The Independent, Elle Deco, and others.
Projects
- Strats, AdidasThe "Strat" collection is made out of local recycled plastic that is 3D printed into furniture. The whole collection includes stools, lounge chairs, tables, lamps and other customizable pieces of furniture on request. Designing together with the 3D printed technology could compete with current industrial processes offering a potential new form of industrialization. The adaptable custom made products offer a new way to create sustainable objects.
