At 186 Portobello Road lies The Distillery, a four-floor mecca for the discerning drinker. The first of its kind in the UK, The Distillery is not only a working distillery in the centre of London, but also the home for the internationally-renowned Portobello Road Gin and the critically acclaimed gin-blending experience, The Ginstitute, two bars, a private dining room, and three guest lodgings.
Nestled up under two railway arches just around London Fields, The Brewhouse holds up to 500 people. It is a unique, charming space that caters for weddings, corporate and private events. In one year, I was responsible for a 42% business growth and dealt with high-profile clients including Google, Red Bull, Facebook, It’s Nice That and Pizza Pilgrims.
Zigfrid and Roadtrip are two well-established venues based in Shoreditch, East London. These quirky haunts were designed the owner Paul Daly and their eccentric décor has been attracting different types of clients for over 10 years. Zigfrid’s full capacity is 500 and Roadtrip can hold up to 200 people and both spaces accommodate corporate events, team building days, private parties and live music showcases. During the four years as their Event Planner, I developed an effective commercial plan, which led to an increase in the conversion ratios and focused on the corporate market, exploring the proximity to Liverpool Street.
