About me
Founding my studio was a way of creating a place to passionately work with and for people in love with their projects and brands. I’ve graduated in Graphic Design at ESAD (Matosinhos) and made my master in Drawing and Printing Techniques at FBAUP. These two completely different contexts made me create a different idea of what design is and how I wanted to work. I’m nuts for chocolate and cookies, so you must be ready to have plenty of those when working with us!

  • As emoções e os sentimentos também se treinam?
As emoções e os sentimentos também se treinam?Jorge Araújo was a professional basketball coach and national manager, owner of Team Work Consultores, a company certified in consultancy and behavioural training with eighteen years of experience on training people and teams for high efficiency. Jorge Araújo challenged us to edit one of his last books, in which he wanted a different and artistic touch. In collaboration with Fernando Moreira, an actor and visual artist from Porto, we worked on a cover seeking for that different look. From the qu
  • Almadas
AlmadasAlmadas is an atelier located in Porto were painting courses are held by two generations of artists. Inês, the future manager of the space, wanted to freshen up their image and to create a range of cohesive promotional materials. We were inspired by the old signing of the traditional shops surrounding the atelier, which display condensed characters and strong curved shapes. We gave them a contemporary look through a monospaced font, which allows a perfect grid. The symbol was compounded by the letter ‘A’ and the line that breaks the syllabus. By rotating them, it suggests a paint brush, and establishes a connection with the courses. The new brand is clean, remarkable and versatile, and opens up new ways of communicating with future students and clients.
  • Carlos Mensil
Carlos MensilCarlos Mensil is a Portuguese visual artist work based in Porto. The visual communication should not overshadow the art pieces, so the brand needed to be clean and sober. Mensil enjoys playing with visual perception. We kept that characteristic through a digital representation of a lined sheet of paper for the business card, which is deeply connected to his series of pieces painted on stainless steel that also simulated it.
  • Retrato robot
Retrato robotMarina’s dissertation focused on robot portraits inside the Drawing and Printmaking Master Degree was a delightful project to work on. Thinking about the idea of an old criminal archive, like the ones she explored during the investigation, we’ve looked for an object with that particular appearance, not only on the cover but also inside. We’ve worked with a basic and classic grid and typography, with black and white images and photographs. The object was digitally printed inside, on Canson paper, and the cover was silk screened on canvas, all book bound by hand with artisanal methods.
  • Estrela Park
Estrela ParkEstrela Park is a bed & breakfast located near Basílica da Estrela and the garden that was named after it, in Lisbon, Portugal. It’s a cozy, familiar and airy apartment with a balcony with a view over Lisbon. The owner, Anna, wanted her guests to feel at home and to share her enthusiasm for the city with them. The space has antique furniture mixed with a light and modern design. The logo has a mid-century modern vibe, inspired by the building. Blue was also chosen accordingly its color façade. The website offers a virtual tour of the apartment and its rooms with a pleasant interface, similar to the ambience of the bed & breakfast.
  • Casa da Brincad'eira
Casa da Brincad'eiraCasa da Brincad’eira is located on the remarkable Quinta de Bonjóia, Porto, a building from the XVIII century. Children can enjoy a different and exciting birthday party full of activities: culinary workshops, facial painting, dance, games, sports, treasure hunting… The surrounding green spaces promote playing and mingling with friends. The logo evokes the toys compound by blocks, and has a playful and fun font. The dark yellow is connected with the nature, Sun, and the joy of being a child. We were also required to produce a birthday party invitation that embraced various age gaps. The result was a postcard that can be customised and painted with multiple colors.
