A similar pattern of self-reflection can be observed in the fashion world, where the act of contemplating the past influences future trends. The aim of this project was to create a fashion collection that explores the deeply rooted feelings of sentiment about the life of someone approaching the age of 30. - dior and warholIn this project, I wanted to imagine what would happen if Dior had the chance to meet Andy Warhol in person. Thinking about the similarities of both creators, I decided to focus on flowers which were a strong theme for both of the artists. Christian Dior is well known for celebrating feminity with botanical references. His passion for flowers started at an early age when he was exploring his family's garden. - the dinner jacketBased on the Ede and Ravenscroft dinner jacket from the early 20th century, this project explores the style of women who decided to rebel against norms and start to wear a suit in times when it was unacceptable. Inspired by fashion icons like Marlene Dietrich and Bianca Jagger this collection was created in mind to build simple shapes with attention to details, like buckles and removable pockets.
