I come from a family with a strong background in fashion. My father is an Interior Designer and used to have a small Childrenswear factory in my hometown. My grandmother made women's knitwear for private clients and family and my aunts had a well-known tailor shop. Inspired by them I started my journey attending a fashion school in São Paulo, Brazil, in 2003 and even before graduation I had already established a career designing for reputable South American companies. Notwithstanding I was really proud of my achievements, I decided to move abroad to pursue my dream of having an international education and work experience. So, I came to UK in 2011. I am going into my 3rd year of Womenswear at London College of Fashion - it has been amazing and I am truly happy with my choice. In London, I had a few work opportunities in the industry that have given me a good knowledge of the market. As Women's Designer and Buyer, Sales Assistant and most recently as Accessories Designer and Account Manager. Challenges motivate me and after all these years of experience and learning, I feel confident to take the next step in my career. More than the job opportunity, a designer position in a luxury fashion company represents something I'm really looking forward to.
