Key responsibilities include pitching and crafting innovative, engaging and relevant written content for Primark.com and keeping up to date with competitor movements both online and in store. Tonal flexibility is mandatory for writing across departments and territories. We cover womenswear, menswear, homeware, beauty and kidswear for both the UK and Irish sites and are soon to be communicating to US markets too.
Responsibilities included fashion copywriting for Secretsales' ecommerce site, constructing engaging marketing copy to increase click-through rates from editorial emails and building content to align with the interests of the brand's ABC1 core audience on the Secretsales blog, The Secret.
Assisting the Catwalks Editor and Deputy Catwalks Editor with trend collation, trend forecasting, catwalk reportage and day-to-day duties. This position was a temporary seasonal role that employed me during the key fashion months and seasons throughout the course of a year. As well as covering individual shows across all four major fashion weeks, I also assisted in the creation of weekly and global trend reports used to communicate key trends to WGSN's vast client base. I was also responsible for maintaining a selection of WGSN's social media platforms, which required multi-tasking , timely posting and constant attention.
