About me
I am a highly creative and ambitious new Graphic Designer. I have had a career in an extremely creative job and have been an artist for as long as I know. After over 10 years as a Scenic Artist painting scenery for some of the largest Theatre shows, TV, Films and Events, my ambition and want of a new career of a cleaner and less physical nature, lead me to pack up my life and travel to Australia. Where I undertook an intensive Graphic design course at Shillington College. It has to be one of the best
things I have ever done. Whilst it was very intensive, achieving 38 briefs in 3months, it was extremely rewarding. It enabled me to adapt my skills as a Scenic Artist into a new medium, gaining the invaluable and practical computer skills needed, using the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign).
My keen eye for design, detail, colour and my career as a Scenic Artist only enhances me as a Graphic Designer, also giving me a different perspective on the design process.
Plus I can definitely do handmade!
