About me
My name is Joe Bulmer. I am a degree qualified professional freelance Sound Engineer.
I have been working on music, film and corporate projects since I graduated 6 years ago and I have built my own fully equipped recording studio, which I often work out of: recording music, voiceovers, Or else composing and playing music in a band.

I have learned many skills through my work from practical building techniques, acoustics design and interiors. To the use of various audio and visual software such as Pro Tools and Logic. As well as all the administrative skills required for being a freelancer.
I also regularly fulfil both camera assistant and grip jobs when required.
I have always been interested in music and the arts in general. Outside of work I enjoy visiting London's museums such as the Tate (Britain and Modern), and venues to see music of all kinds (as well as playing the occasional gig).

Freelance Sound Engineer
I work as a freelance sound engineer both on location, in venues and theatres, as well as at the studio that I built from the ground up "City Sessions Studio". www.citysessionsstudio.co.uk
I have my own top level professional equipment both in the studio and for location/field recording purposes, which includes such brands as "Sound Devices", "Telefunken" and "Avid".
I am fluent in ProTools, Logic and various other audio and video software.
I have done various location recording, sound mixing, camera assisting, grip, post production, sound mixing work for many production companies around London and beyond.
