Projects
- Elements of the Frame - Short FilmSuper 16mm short film - A meditative contemplation of environment and composition. This was my final project on my BA Film degree at Plymouth College of Art. I wanted to draw comparisons between where I had grown up, where I was heading after education and how to convey this within the cinematography and editing.

Education
MFA Craft EditingRavensbourne University London

After working in the lighting side of the film industry, I came to the realisation that editing was what I was more interested in and the work side of it fitted better with my lifestyle choices and the flexibility of the work was very appealing.
I decided to do a master's degree, to become better acquainted with editing as a whole and to help me find more confidence in my abilities. During my time there, I spent a lot of time editing together pieces of a documentary feature film. Due to documentaries often incorporating a variety of other genres and emotions into each project, this was a very effective way of coming to terms with various techniques.
I find that after doing this course, I am much more confident, as well as very aware of each decision I make within an edit, rather than just trying to cut a project together in a way that emulates films I have previously seen. I feel that with the ability to follow more conscious decision-making, I can produce more unique work, rather than just repeating the same techniques over and over.

During my BA Film degree, I gained experience within various aspects of filmmaking. My primary experience was within cinematography and editing. I also gained experience working with Super 16mm film whilst making my graduate project, 'Elements of the Frame'.
I gained key personal skills of working within groups, whilst also being capable of working alone or even leading groups in projects. These could be in studio environments or on location in a variety of conditions and differing levels of pressure.
