I am a freelance writer and editor. Over the last few years, I have been lucky enough to carve out a niche in travel, and in October last year, I took the freelance plunge full time. I set off across Africa in search of stories, covering my experiences for several magazines and websites. Prior to this, I spent just under five years in house, writing, editing, and managing content for TravelSupermarket.
Aside from travel, I have written copy for a broad range of sectors, including retail and finance, producing all manner of content types – I am just as comfortable delivering an immersive travelogue as I am reworking site copy for SEO purposes.
Having worked freelance, in house and at agency level, I have developed a keen understanding of the content process, from creative and briefing through to delivery and publication.
