About me

I am an efficient, experienced, creative and detail-driven graphic designer with a strong visual style, tasteful understanding of colour, type and composition. My specialities include design in all forms of print, but through experience I have a solid knowledge of online, including social media. I am always keen to expand and develop my personal level of expertise collaborating as part of a team or independently. Throughout previous employments I have gained the ability to multitask efficiently and prioritise on projects effectively - from conception to high standard completion within deadlines and working well under pressure. I am very passionate about evolving technologies and trends while self-teaching myself a various range of subjects from iOS app developer, HTML to CSS stylesheet and Wordpress. To further my experience I am looking for a suitable Graphic Designer position within an ambitious company or a challenging freelance project, where I can show my creativity and expertise to produce a successful product.

I decided to apply for a short-term Bachelor Art Degree in Rimini, close to my hometown and studied there for 3 years while I was working part time in companies where I previously worked as an intern. These 3 years endorsed my interests in graphic, digital and social media design and during the last semester when I booked my last exam 4 month earlier than the deadline I also bought my one-way ticket to London for March 2012. I passed the exams with 97/100 score.

  • During my 5 years at “Instituto Roberto Ruffilli” I learnt a great deal about design principles, design softwares, printing processes and photography. We started with the basics in graphic design from colour combination to space, balance and harmony. We went on to learn the different types of graphic editor softwares (raster, vectorial and digital) going from beginners to advanced. We also had in-depth lessons about photography and printing processes, from the history of photography to the understanding of lights, speeds, apertures and lenses. Every week we met up with experts and business owners of printing company. We learned and experimented with a range from digital to lithography to serigraphy. During the last 3 years we did 2 months of internships every summer during school break which allowed me to see closely the working environment. I developed a massive interest in new technologies including social media, History and English/American culture during these 5 years. I passed the exams with a 93/100 score.

Trade Event of the Year

The Drink Business

  • For the first time I was the Project Manager for the 2016 annual portfolio event, me and the team took great pride reasearching for new solutions, new suppliers, eye catching design pieces, meet deadlines, control the budget and winning an amazing award at The Drinks Business Awards. The comment from the judges: The merger of Enotria and Coe Vintners was easily the most important occasion in either business’s history, and as such, the launch of Enotria&Coe had to be the new two companys’ biggest and best event yet. Taking over seven rooms of the Truman Brewery and welcoming more than 1,800 customers, the event achieved record attendance numbers and, with a comprehensive digital strategy, achieved high levels of engagement. Featuring a wide range of wines and spirits across five rooms (Sparkling, Europe, Brand Owners, Americas and Tri-Nations) the event showcased Enotria&Coe’s extensive combined portfolio in a dynamic format. Overall the showcase pushed the boundaries of drinks events, finding an innovative way of incorporating a huge portfolio in a way that still allowed our customers to engage with producers, suppliers and our team in an immersive setting. The event impressed the judges because,as it had it incorporating two new businesses into one event, it presented many challenges. Judges deemed it “successful and well executed” and praised Enotria&Coe for “clever touches”, like speed-dating, so the sales force met producers the day before the event.
