I defined the agency expansion strategy and led communication strategy development for all clients. This meant establishing a new business development strategy, defining & resourcing Magenta Digital offering and conducting strategy reviews with all clients in order to develop annual strategy plans
I led the development & execution of a new web & e-comm platform for a WA kitchen & cookware retailer. I developed their first ever online store in record time, launching Nov’12 in time for Xmas.
Worked on the Reebok brand at an EMEA region level. Initially led the single biggest category, Reebok Classics, worth €270m & controlled football marketing globally. Oversaw the renaissance of the Classics category via a concerted effort to reconnect with heritage and a focused fashion sector strategy. After 3 years on Classics & Football I transitioned to Mens Sport and launched 2 new technologies into EMEA: Flex and ZigTech. I then focused on establishing Reebok's refined fitness positioning which included working on the launch of the Reebok Crossfit partnership within EMEA.
I joined SSL as Durex Brand Manager and led a key evolution in the marketing of the UK's leading condom brand by integrating youth focused promotional marketing alongside the traditional spine of safe sex and sex education activity. This led to an increasing focus on youth focused brand partnerships, summer campaigns in Ibiza and Ayia Napa and increased investment in initiatives such as the Global Sex Survey. I became Marketing Controller of Durex within 3 years. I led key new product development projects including a full brand packaging relaunch and was the UK lead on the Durex Play initiative including leading an exclusive distribution partnership with Boots. In 2004 I became Head of UK Marketing which handed me oversight of the whole UK brand portfolio which included Scholl (flight socks, Party Feet, footwear) and a portfolio of UK OTC medicines.
I joined UB on their graduate scheme and was one of an annual intake of 12 grads. I chose to join Youngs Seafood, working with a talented bunch of marketers who were leading the charge to shift consumer attitudes towards eating fish. I worked directly on new product developments such as 'Fish n Sauce' and eventually handled the ready meals category.
I was accepted into Seth Godin's 'altMBA' in March 2016. The altMBA is an intensive, 4-week online workshop designed by Seth Godin for high-performing individuals who want to level up and lead.
I graduated with a 2:1 B.A (Hons) in Business Studies specialising in Marketing. My final dissertation was on 'Night Club marketing in Stoke on Trent'
