      • I worked in a semi autonomous capacity reporting to the Newcastle based Events Director. Key Responsibilities: • Manage Venue diary – Researching & booking artists, assessing suitability of acts in terms of: market interest, the Digital brand, cost and the capacity of the venue. • Promote Venue and its associated events - Develop a promotional strategy that identifies and comprehensively informs the target audience for each event, whilst pricing it accordingly. This includes print design, dissemination of posters & flyers, advertising, online social networking, listings and managing the promotions team. • Event Management – Advance all aspects of a show, sign contracts, pay deposits, book hotels, oversee technical requirements, and liaise with managers, agents, artists, technical and stage crew. On the day of the event, source riders, liaise between all parties, problem solve, manage the stage during the show. Key Achievements: • Profitability – Booking, running 5 nights per week profitably • Great Escape Festival - Managing and co-ordinating 21 bands over 3 days. • Awards - Winning DJ Mags ‘Best Small British Club 2011’ • Advancing and Hosting - Friendly Fires, MGMT, Annie Mac, Deadmau5, Disclosure, Fatboy Slim, Major Lazer and Bicep among many others.
