We Are Fred is an Advertising Operations and Production consultancy, set up to work with brands and agencies alike, to find more effective and innovative ways to work with customers, suppliers and most importantly within their own organisation. We worked with BBH to help successfully transition the Tesco Group business into the agency. This involved consolidating multiple agency partners into one agency, demonstrating production efficiencies, building a new team, negotiating contracts and fees, developing bespoke processes, setting up a new satellite agency to service the Tesco Bank business, which was in direct conflict with Barclays, and on-boarding new Clients throughout the transition period.
At adam&eveDDB, I helped to launch SSE’s inaugural brand campaign. Despite being the second biggest energy company in the UK and a top FTSE 35 company, SSE had never undertaken any brand advertising before. So the job was to create a completely new brand identity in order to raise brand awareness, which had been pitifully low. This resulted in a national through the line brand campaign featuring Maya the Orang-utan, the first 100% CGI animal. It has been a hugely valuable learning experience from start to finish and has marked the start of a new era for SSE. adam&eveDDB is so much more than an advertising agency to SSE, having been involved in numerous up-stream business conversations around new products and services.
I helped to oversee the successful transition of the British Airways’ Global CRM and Digital marketing work from OgilvyOne. This was hugely significant business win for BBH, because it was their first foray into CRM, but more importantly because it heralded the start of a new business model that they are now rolling out to other clients within their organistaion. It also marked the start of a new way of working for British Airways, because this is the first time that they have consolidated the majority of their marketing output into one agency. Consequently there were a lot of senior eyes on this transition, so it was important that it went through without a hitch, which I’m pleased to say it did.
Philips Philips is a fantastically diverse business, with expertise in lighting, sound, household products and healthcare, to name just a few. It’s a business that prides itself on innovation and this needs to be reflected across all of its consumer facing touch points. One of my main projects was working on the award winning h?ue ?product – the market leader in Personal Wireless Lighting. Key Responsibilities - Overseeing the development of a new Global website for hue, as well as the localisation of the same platform - Developing a partner website for Developers who were encouraged to use the hue API to adapt and enhance the hue experience - Developing a B2B social strategy for the Philips Lighting UK team - Managing a team of an Account Manager and a Community Manager who were responsible for the delivery of the digital and social output for Philips Lighting in the UK - Managing the relationship with the Global Home Cooking team and overseeing the development and localisation of an interactive YouTube video with Jamie Oliver Sony Mobile UK This was the biggest piece of business in the iris London office. My role was to oversee the digital and social output on the account and to identify new strategic and commercial opportunities within those channels. Key Responsibilities - Overseeing the implementation of Sony Mobile’s social media strategy in the UK - Managing a team of an Account Manager, an Account Executive and a Community Manager, all of whom were responsible for the delivery of the digital and social output for Sony Mobile - Working with the mobile network providers and retail partners to garner their support around new product launches and to ensure they are equipped with the best possible assets to support a dual-branded advertising campaign
